As everyone knows by now, Barack Obama let his mask slip during a recent speech in Roanoke, Virginia, and told the whole world how he really feels about entrepreneurs who start businesses. Channeling Cherokee Princess Elizabeth Warren, the community organizer in chief told the crowd that if you’re successful, it’s not because you’re so smart or such a hard worker — it’s because of all the wonderful things government has built, such as roads, bridges, and public schools. Obama and his pals later complained that his words (“You didn’t build that!”) were taken out of context; but as anyone who has listened to the whole speech knows, it was a stunningly imbecilic remark, whether in context or out of it. I swear, there are times I worry that comedians and cartoonists are going to be tempted to vote for this dipstick just to ensure that they never run out of raw material.
