Employee of the month

Meet Rachel, the Chick-fil-A employee who became famous overnight when she was the victim of an obnoxious bully on Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, and somehow managed to maintain her cheerful, pleasant demeanor throughout the entire encounter. Brava, Rachel!

UPDATE: Rachel forgives the dipstick that attacked her. What a classy young lady.

Anyone who has had the “pleasure” of working retail will appreciate her even more. I think I would have thrown his “free water” in his face!

I worked in a gift shop in upstate New York that had a lot of Canadian tourists. One guy asked me to change his Canadian twenty into small bills so he could buy a cup of coffee. I gave him $13 in small U.S. bills, which was the exchange rate at the time. He said I shortchanged him $7 and got all pissy. I then gave him his twenty back and said “fine, you can try the bank down the street” with a smile.

He knew I just didn’t fall off the turnip truck and he went into a WILD rant about how crappy the USA was and it was somehow my fault. Never forget that day I took a bullet for my country…..lol.

Bless you Rachel, nicer you were, the jerkier that guy got. And it’s how I treat my Democrat friends now :D

Denise, he must not have been a native Canuck. Probably an immigrant from across the pond. Native Maple Leaf Flaggers are genetically too polite to give you that type of guff.

Before retirement I put in a stint as “the man” at a large DMV office in a major bay area city. When customers wanted another opinion I was their final recourse. Lots of drama and tears – and lack of candor, of course. One fellow, failing to win his point after almost an hour of tumultuous argument, finally stormed away – but not before shouting, “You’re too fat”! “Thank you, sir” I politely replied. Two hundred or more people waiting in nearby lines broke into applause – for me. He had lost and I won.
