I don’t know what book the critic Ambrose Bierce was talking about when he said “The covers of this book are too far apart,” but it certainly wasn’t any of the books included on a list I published a couple of days ago… which I had excerpted from a longer list at The People’s Cube… and which, at the request of a friend, I re-posted at For God, Family, and Country.
