Ohhh beautiful.
My husband just left the Pentagon that morning after a huge meeting he had with Army people. He left on a bus to go to Crystal City. That bus stop at the Pentagon was destroyed 5 minutes later, then everything else in the plane’s path…. the Pentagon.
Today is also our wedding anniversary, so he was planning on taking a half day and coming home for lunch… Thank God for cell phones. with all of the mayhem he did not come home until 10:pm that night. all of the roads were clogged or closed off. What was a gorgeous blue sky kind of day, it was black. the sky was completely black. We remember it was one hell of a day, a nightmare
