Achieving inner peace and tranquility

Could you use a little more peace and tranquility in your life?

Of course you could. We all could. That’s why I’m passing this information along to all of you, my loyal readers.

By following some simple advice I heard on the Dr. Phil show, I found inner peace, and you can too.

Dr. Phil says that the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you started but never finished.

So I looked around my house to see what things I’d started and hadn’t finished, and to be honest with you, I was surprised at how many of them I found.

So I got to work.

I finished off a bottle of merlot, a bottle of white zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, half a cheesecake left over from last night, and a box of chocolate-covered caramels.

You would not believe how freaking good I feel.

LOL–I really did! I remember an Erma Bombeck excerpt where she talked about envying people who go through a natural disaster such as a flood, fire, etc. because think of all those papers and “things” that you never got around to doing anything with? In one flash–they’re gone! And you don’t have to deal with them anymore. (Your writing reminds me of her, btw).

  3. LOL thanks for the laugh, I needed it
