I don’t know what book Ambrose Bierce was talking about when he said “The covers of this book are too far apart,” but it certainly wasn’t any of the books included on a list I published a couple of days ago… which I had excerpted from a longer list at The People’s Cube… which inspired my blogging buddies ZMalfoy, ZurichMike, and GruntOfMonteCristo to add some more titles of books whose covers would be not be far apart at all:
