This is Washington’s idea of addressing our nation’s fiscal crisis:
Congress has no intention of reducing spending, or reforming entitlements, or in any other substantive way addressing the problems that are sinking our nation’s economy. Still, they did manage to raise taxes, and apparently that’s all that really matters. Got to keep those uppity peasants in their place, after all.
The country’s in the very best of hands.
