No key? No problem

The parents who set up a camera to find out how their two-year-old son was pinching toys from his sister’s locked bedroom at night can be heard laughing at the end of this clip. But you know what’s really going through their minds is,”If this is the sort of thing he thinks of when he’s two, what will he think of when he’s a teenager?”

I raised one of those. Now his 3 year old daughter is here four days a week stealing my heart – and her grandma’s chocolate stash (after pushing a stool from the other side of the house and climbing up high to unlatch the door).

It’s probably merely me, getting old and fading away into nothingness, but while raising my own kids all I had to do was glare at them with my “cop” look and they trembled. This little one looks at me doing that and then sweetly says, “Please, papa dear, may I have some apple juice?” What’s a mean old grandfather gonna do?
