I remember a Mother Clucker’s in Delaware, near Fenwick Island where my aunt and uncle lived. Not being the type to play chicken, I never could bring myself to try it.
My uncle worked the name of the restaurant into his emails a little too often for my comfort..

Not quite in the same league, but a high-school favorite: Let’s all go to the A&P. (Say it aloud and you’ll get it.)

How clever! and a great way to get people to remember your restaurant!

Not sure Sam & Ella’s was such a good choice for a chicken place. Like Dr Pain the Dentist, some folks just shouldn’t use their names for their business. Added to the blog-heap, where sometimes BoB’s posts are the only thing balancing my right-hand (fun & info) column with the left (wars & problems).

Thank you for the link, mindful. It’s not often that I get accused of providing balance. 🙂
