    It always is interesting to see what copywriters determined was the “sizzle” for the “steak” they tried to sell the consumers of their day. “Reach of a Lucky instead of a sweet” was used to hook women on smoking in the 1920s, for example. Aunt Jemima (in phoney dialect) sold her pancake mix and is embarrassingly non-PC to modern day readers. “Yo sho likes my pancakes!” Ouch!

  4. Terrific.. not sure if half the stuff they put in the ingredients was 100% safe and the poor bald girl with the hairdryer deserved every penny she was paid.. Great selection.. thank you .
