Somewhere in the midst of what appears to be an explosion in a medicine cabinet, a panda lurks. See if you can find it.

If you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive. —C. S. Lewis

He leaped out at me (figuratively) as soon as I saw the graphic. It’s funny how that works. Sometimes I have to scan several minutes to find the anomaly.

I always find it interesting to hear people’s reactions, and see how different things jump out at different people. Someone who found the previous puzzle easy might find the current one more challenging, while another person finds them just the reverse. This one I found moderately challenging, but some that I thought were easier, others found difficult or impossible. It would be fun to do an experiment on a group of people using puzzles like this. If I were a classroom teacher with a captive audience, I’d be tempted to try. 🙂

Hint: divide the picture in half vertically, then in half again horizontally. Focus your eyes on the bottom of the upper left quarter.

Alright, that was harder than normal.

I wonder if the black and white ones are harder than the ones that are in color — what do you think? This one took me longer than the one with the panda and the dogs, which was in color. I even took the panda/dog picture and switched it from color to black and white, to see if that made a difference… but since I already knew where the panda was, I couldn’t really tell. 🙂

The Panda here looks like some of the random dots in other places in the picture. In the dog one, the Panda was another creature just with different features. In this one he is not one of the pills. Took me a while to find him.
