One of the annoying things about believing in free will and individual responsibility is the difficulty of finding somebody to blame your problems on. —P. J. O’Rourke

Or just very absent-minded. 🙂

As geezerdom encroaches, I fear that it will happen to me in a moment of absent-mindedness.

As scatterbrained as I am, it’s a miracle that I haven’t done any of these (yet).

That’s just what I was thinking, Bluebird. How is it that I haven’t done anything like this yet, in over 45 years of driving?
When I had my big 5-0 birthday, many years ago, I decided to buy myself a motorcycle and learn to ride. One by one, all of my biker friends told me the same thing. “Lynda, you are too ditzy. You will kill yourself the first week.” I knew they were right, so I decided not to do it.

I am in geezerdom, yet haven’t had this happened to me. Hope it never does.

I am deep into Geezerhood, but I have never done anything like this…as far as I can remember.
What was I talking about ?

I’m a geezer too, and heaven knows I’ve done my share of stupid things behind the wheel… but it always makes me feel a little better when I see things like the above that (so far) I haven’t done. 🙂
