The camera work on this one is terrible; I’m guessing that whoever was attempting to record the performance was laughing so hard that he or she was unable to hold the camera steady. In any case, the spectators obviously felt they got their money’s worth.

It’s a rare dancer who can keep calm and carry on when her fellow dancers are engaging in fisticuffs. I’d love to know where those little girls are now.

My girls always behaved reasonably well at their dance recitals, but then I didn’t put them in dance classes when they were as young as those little girls. When you take a kid who’s barely out of diapers and put her in a tutu on stage in front of an auditorium full of people, you’re kind of asking for trouble. 😀

The talk show host Jimmy Kimmel told how his little daughter said she wasn’t going to dance with the others for a recital and didn’t. All in the group were given an award and she wanted to know what her’s was for. A smart child even at that young age. 😀 — Suzanne
