I guess I have one of those compulsive collector personalities. As a little kid I collected all kind of worthless junk (which probably drove my mother crazy), but now that I’m old, I collect only things that don’t take up much space and don’t need to be dusted or otherwise maintained — such as funny, interesting, cute, and/or beautiful photographs (but only in digital form). 🙂

Oh, life is a funny experience. Thank you for the rays of ironic sunshine today.
I found your site through “This Made Me Smile Today”, who reblogged this post, and so far I love “Blue Bird of Bitterness.” Your mascot bluebird alone is enough to capture my attention, then you have its whole “family” listed below.

I’m glad you enjoyed Bob’s family album. It started out primarily as an excuse to use some of the great photos I had in my collection (I’m a compulsive collector of such things), and secondarily as a way to fill up the empty sidebar. 🙂

Both good reasons! My sister I think shares your “compulsive collecting” of photos and such, both digital and physical. If you give her a box or jar, she says she will, within the day, find trinkets with which to fill it.
The album certainly makes a more fun sidebar than the drop-down menus and statistics that commonly appear there!
