Proust wrote a seven-volume novel entitled “À la recherche du temps perdu” (“Remembrance of Things Past”). Guy had one heck of a memory. 🙂

I’m with you, Abigail. Especially when the weather outside is frightful — i.e., hot and humid — and I’m stuck indoors. That’s the time to lose myself in something by George Eliot or Charles Dickens or Thomas Hardy or one of the Brontë sisters. 🙂
