    Appropriately, it keeps repeating.
Dragnet always reminds me of Freberg’s ‘Dragon-net’. ‘… out on the knight watch when a call came in from the Chief … the dragon, again, devouring maidens …’

I had forgotten! Ein Segen am grunsye Tag! Now let’s all have the feast! A few years ago, Punxsutawney Phil tried to take off the president of the Groundhog Society’s thumb. I can’t blame him. I get grumpy, too, when someone wakes me up in the cold, cold air from a warm bed. When a friend moved from Colorado to Penna, I had to explain, Phil isn’t a stuffed animal nor a cartoon, but think of him as a 20 lbs ground squirrel. He said something naughty and laughed at my ol’ windy (tall tale). Then I showed him one and his jaw bounced on his chest. They used to call them upland beaver, but have a brushy tail, not a paddle. When market gardening, I had a female burrow into the hill above the garden. She had a path thru the peas, and beans, right to the old orchard where she feasted on white clover, then went home to snooze till evening. I never lost a bean to her, but the dogs thought she was cute, till she told them she wasn’t the plays well with others type. Niio!
