The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer. —Paula Poundstone
My kid accused me of being overdramatic, so I changed the WiFi password. We’ll see who’s overdramatic in about five minutes.

Awwww. These are really sweet, although that nursing fox looks like she might be wishing for a smaller litter.

I think you’re right! That vixen had at least eight kits (I tried many times to count them, but since they all looked alike and they never sat still, it was next to impossible), which is a very large litter for a red fox. She and her family were living under our garden shed, and my husband took that picture of them.

I was already thinking that the fox was my favorite. Then I read your comment that your husband took that picture. Amazing!

Those baby foxes were so much fun to watch! We got lots of good pictures of them, but this one was especially appropriate for Mother’s Day. 🙂

My daughter got a gorgeous picture of a fox that was living next door. But this one with the kits is the best.

Amazing pictures, especially the fox with her nursing kits. Bluebird’s husband took that picture.

Thank you for your wonderfully entertaining blogs. I’m glad you’re back in your nest again. A day without a Bluebird fix just feels all wrong.

Awww, thanks. One of these days I’m going to have to break down and buy me one of them there new-fangled portable devices all the rest of you folks have, so I won’t have to suspend blogging every time I fly the coop.

Wow. Happy pictures, and I’m impressed with the fox photo too! Now you have me wondering how many photos in other posts actually originate with you. Well done.
My first thought was that the fox is wondering how soon she can start them on solids 🙂

Judging from the expression on her face, I’d have to say you’re right. 😀
