We had the pleasure of seeing Bolcom and Morris in concert at Alfred University in the late 1970s. We had heard their recordings many times on the radio. The live performance was n-degrees better.

I ate Lime Jello marshmallow cottage cheese surprise many times at my grandmother’s table. It’s actually kinda good. Who knew there was a song about it? Thanks for the delightful surprise. 😀

My mother’s specialty was orange jello with shredded carrots and crushed pineapple. I can’t tell you what it tasted like, as I flatly refused to try it. (My personal preference was for cherry jello with mandarin oranges and miniature marshmallows, which seemed to make an appearance at just about every church potluck.)

Yeah, agreed. I never saw the appeal of grated carrots in jello…

To become well known it must have been a good performance but I somehow missed hearing about it or the song. —- 🙂 — Suzanne

I heard it for the first time on public radio, decades ago. I still get a kick out of it. 🙂

A lot of this sounds yummy, but then, you have to consider I’m a bit of a “garbage gut”. I comes from my Scouting days…
