Happy anniversary, Mickey and Minnie

It’s the 91st anniversary of the premiere of “Steamboat Willie,” which was the first film starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse to be shown in theaters. The two mice had actually made their debut a few months earlier in “Plane Crazy,” which failed to find a distributor in 1928 and was not released until the following year, after the success of “Steamboat Willie” had made stars of Mickey and Minnie.
