That gray bird is actually my cousin Alphonse. Why he mistook that white egg for me is anyone’s guess, since everyone knows bluebird eggs are blue. Alphonse has not been right in the head since that midair collision he had with a radio-controlled model airplane last spring.

They can be destructive little nuisances (they attack the siding on our house all the time), but they make great cartoon characters. 🙂
