      Back in my youth, I almost always stayed up until midnight, so New Year’s Eve was never any different from most nights. Now that I’m old and decrepit, I never stay up that late if I can avoid it!

    Spent the evening reading and early to bed. No televised ball drops or fireworks. What a blessed, peaceful relief! But wrote the obligatory resolution post, anyway!😂
