Certainly there are lots of things in life that money wonβt buy, but have you ever tried to buy them without money?

Squirrels, like the poor, are always with us.

LOVE this. When we first moved in here my daughter spotted a squirrel in our tree and named him Nutty then demanded her grandpa build a little feeder board to put cracked corn on for the squirrel.
We do love our critters.
And when they go flying tree to tree making those indignant “how dare you run out of corn?” noises at me, it’s too cute and funny. Thanks for sharing this.

I slow down to avoid running over squirrels but in this tiny town, it’s not like I am gonna cause a ten car pile up. I even slow down for possums. Aside from roaches, maggots, and slugs, I don’t like to harm any creatures. When my daughter shrieks about a spider, I just use a paper plate and set it free outside.
The animals have as much right here as we do. And one day they may be in our position and we could be the pests so I’m not tempting fate by angering them, lol. π

Squirrels are just cute rats with fluffy tails.
That said, we also love our squirrels – we have a giant Black Walnut tree in our back yard, and we always make sure the nuts are available all year round.

Had a squirrel try to attack mine and my 2-year-old daughter’s toes many years ago. Quite a chase was involved, that squirrel was pure evil!
Still cute though.

That’s weird. Most squirrels are shy and skittish — I’ve never met one that was aggressive! Makes me wonder if maybe it was rabid…
