Wow. Took a minute to affirm, yes, that really is our favorite cowardly lion. Suppose he was really playing that sax? Folks had to be multi-talented in those days.
Shirley really opens up when Robinson comes in. Each is amazing, but particularly so both together.
All that spectacular tap dancing, and always with the biggest ol’ smile on her pretty little face.

Just between you and me, I thought the whole routine was kind of lame before Robinson’s entrance — at which point it suddenly became wonderful. 🙂
