Even though day and night are suppose to be equal, the day is actually a wee-bit longer. Light always wins 🙂 … oh btw, this year is the earliest change of season in over 100 years.

This is a sweet picture. Although, I like to keep a distance from wildlife. (Remembering when wild niece let a raccoon in the house.)
I declared this morning that this was truly our first day of Spring — Practically May! The weather has turned, rains tapering off (flood warnings), and everything is blooming and budding and sprouting. So! Much! Green!
Actually supposed to climb to almost 80°F in a couple of hours. Practically Summer! All bluebird’s Oklahoma cousins are really digging the nice weather. Constant chorus and so many bright colors.
Then the wind shifts. Low tomorrow night to hit 26°F. Suddenly reset to January! Do I blame Trump or the Media?
After a couple of hours of that precipitous drop, the stock market will rebound, start rising, and no more freezing in the forecast. Yay! (Not that we haven’t had snow as late as April.)
Merry Vernal to Bluebird and flock. Stay healthy.

Summer! The aloes are in bloom, the plum done for the year, the lemon is budding out, the apple tree (a Dorsett) is leafing OUT! the lavender is in full bloom, Radishes, collards, kohlrabi is in bloom (saving them for seeds), figs are forming on the trees!, peas blooms all over the place. And it RAINED yesterday! Arizona got RAIN! Yi-haw! Soon, the tun (prickly pear) and cholla will be scarlet with flowers. The mesquite going strong. Then, by 1 April, natures pulls her joke and the heat shoots up over 100 F every day for months. 🙂
