My cats are doing the same things.
Posted a photo of my Bluepoint Siamese cat sitting in an empty travel carry-on bag. She’s making sure that no one goes anywhere.
The rest of the time, she is laying around with the other cat, eating, purring, using the litter box, or chasing around the house. Cats love going nowhere in particular. Shelter-in-place experts!

All the sleeping cats were cute. Each sleeping kitten, though, was cuter than the one before. “On, nothing could top this nose-down white kitty on a shelf!” “Wait! Look! two kitties snuggly!” “This one with legs dangling in the cage…” etc

Bluebird has the best cat pix collections. I suppose the avians have to keep close tabs on the tabbies, anyway? (Just to the right of this comment box as I write, Bob’s niece Esmerelda is getting too close!)
