I must be bored. I watched this six times. Six, ah ah ah! The pet sock ate eight cars. He ate eight, ah ah ah!

I love to count. Love! That’s one feeling, ah ah ah! Bored makes two feelings! Lady Quixote is losing her mind. Is losing your mind a feeling? Ah ah ah 😉

“My mind is going, Dave. I can feel it.”
“Would you like me to sing you a song, Dave?”

(For those of you that somehow DON’T get the reference, it’s from the movie 2001 – A Space Odyssey)

I just realized, today is April 30. I am still on jury duty, but after the one jury trial I was on, way back on March 11, the Supreme Court made a declaration that there would be no jury trials until after April 30. The trial clerk notified us via email that on April 30, we are to call to learn when our next jury trial will be. That should relieve the boredom! Uhm, yikes! 😂

Oops, I spoke too soon. I just checked and found another email from the court ckerk. “Due to Covid-19 the supreme court has extended jury trials until after May 29th, 2020 .” Sigh… back to counting things.

(I’m sure you understood that I don’t “Like” that you’re bored!)

I’ve been called only twice for jury duty: The first time was right before I moved to Florida. I told them I’d be gone before the date I was to report, and they excused me.

The second time was within the past two years. I went over to the courthouse and learned the case was a malpractice suit against a physician I see, so of course I was dismissed.

My dad used to get called and selected all the time and was often chosen to be Foreman. I would gladly volunteer to serve on a jury, but that’s not allowed here.

Guess I’ll have to stick with counting, too! 😉
