Is there a Firstborn Child Day? Or better yet, a Firstborn Child Week? With all the extra work we have to do, we deserve it. 😅

Yes, you do. I’ve never been a firstborn, but I married one, and I have one, and they certainly deserve their own day. 🙂

And – tomorrow (13 Aug) is International Lefthanders Day; so created by Lefthanders Magazine, back in the ’80’s. For which, all us southpaws are grateful.

So it is. I wish I had some good left-hander cartoons so I could honor the occasion properly.

Firstborn day–yes. How about youngest child day? (I’m a firstborn). My next door neighbours had 3 boys. They played football, and the ball inevitably ended up in our garden. The youngest, Chris, always came to ask for it back. One day he said, ‘I’m fed up with being the youngest. They always make me come to get the ball back.’
The youngest is put upon by the older siblings, and deserves a day.
Btw. Is there anything there isn’t a day for?

Nowadays it’s hard to find something that doesn’t have its own day (or week, or month, or whatever). For all I know, there might be one for firstborns or lastborns. If you find out, let me know. 🙂

My daughter worried for some time I’d have a third child and she’d lose her baby status. 😀 — Suzanne

I was supposed to be the baby, and I held that position for three years… but then my parents had a little surprise, and I ended up as just another middle child (of which they already had two). Sigh…
