I remember the first time many decades ago I caught him cuddled up in bed taking a nap with the kitteh we had then. I couldn’t have been anymore shocked if I had caught him in bed with a strange woman.

I hear you. Many moons ago, a stray cat took up residence on my parents’ back porch. My mother fed it, so of course it stayed, but my father professed to hate it. One night when he thought no one was watching, I looked out the window and saw him petting the cat that he claimed to hate so much.
