My kid accused me of being overdramatic, so I changed the WiFi password. We’ll see who’s overdramatic in about five minutes.

Beautiful harmonizing!! Did you know his first name was really Israel? A printing error on a published piece of sheet music left him with the name Irving Berlin, and that was the name he carried as he wrote song after song. 🎶🎵🎶Thanks for sharing Bluebird. ♡

I love this!! Will be reposting. My preschoolers sing this song often. Did you know Irving Berlin wrote the song because he didn’t like The Star-Spangled Banner? He thought it was much too difficult. And then, Woody Guthrie wrote This Land is Your Land because he didn’t like God Bless America. So, good songs can spur on more good songs.

My preschoolers are singing this song as we get ready for a Memorial Day Remembrance later this month. Thank you, Irving Berlin.
