  8. Here’s a creepy true story. Many years ago, when I was working on an Alzheimer’s ward in a nursing home, one of our patients began to exhibit increasingly bizarre behavior. The weirdest: she would lie flat on her belly on the floor with her arms pressed in against her sides and her legs stretched straight out behind her. Then she would slither along the floor like a snake, hissing and making her tongue dart in and out of her mouth.

    92 years old, she was the sweetest little old lady until she started doing that!
