      We get a lot of herring gulls here. They’re always making that sound. Good job you don’t live here or you’d be creeped out much of the time. 😄

        Oh my! We have Mockingbirds here, Grackles, and many other types of noisy birds. Typically the Mockingbirds like to imitate cell phone rings. But one day, two Mockingbirds in our tree above my head totally freaked me out when they imitated a Rattlesnake! YIKES!!

        There also used to be a Myna bird, probably somebody’s escaped pet, hanging around our yard. Every time I walked out the back door, the Myna yelled “HI! HI! HI!” I miss him.
