Certainly there are lots of things in life that money won’t buy, but have you ever tried to buy them without money?

Please make sure your fur babies have safe (and quiet) places to go to and hide during the fireworks 🤔

My poor cat goes bonkers with all of the noise. 😾

We had a cat years ago who was terrified of fireworks, thunder, and any other loud noises. He used to run down to the basement and hide behind the water heater.

Awww, I hate to see poor little creatures suffer.

I had a dog who was not allowed upstairs, and he never attempted to go there. Except on Bonfire Night (november 5th in the UK) or thunderstorms when he would shoot up there to hide under a bed.

Our current cat is the first who doesn’t like sitting on us. He really didn’t like the past few evenings noisiness. All of our previous cats didn’t seem to be bothered but that may have been because when they were sitting on us, we weren’t bothered, so they figured out they were safe.

Cats vary a lot in how much noise they can handle. I’ve had both extremes — the kind who freak out at the slightest rumble of thunder, and the kind who don’t bat an eye when the kids next door are setting off firecrackers.
