The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer. —Paula Poundstone
My kid accused me of being overdramatic, so I changed the WiFi password. We’ll see who’s overdramatic in about five minutes.

Me, too, until I looked at the paintings on the wall.

That’s how I finally got it, too. You know, it’s a great illustration of how any of us may see the world differently, due to our different backgrounds and experiences.

The rhino horn is indeed getting in the way of everything!
Now, let’s put some Blind Men in front of an Elephant:

Since you love it so much, I would like to inform you that the elephant cartoon in my previous comment has been given a very extensive explanation and a detailed analysis in the section named “Compromise and Subjectivity: Special Pleading and Relativist Fallacy” in my post entitled “The Quotation Fallacy“.
The section can be reached at http://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2017/10/18/the-quotation-fallacy/#Compromise_Subjectivity

The said post is best viewed in situ (not via WordPress Reader) on a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen, given that my posts are often accompanied by intricate graphical designs, videos and even animations.
I am certainly very curious of what you will make of my said post.
Wishing you a very happy and satisfactory weekend!

Good to know. I have bookmarked it and will view it on my laptop, sometime after our thunderstorms pass. The laptop battery is low and I don’t want to risk plugging it in while we have lightning striking all around us. But I’m thanking the good Lord Jesus for the thunderstorms! After days with blistering hot, triple digit temperatures, the storms have cooled everything down and now I need to wear a sweater.
It really is all about context and perspectives!

All the better to wait for the cool, calm and collected after the storm, when you will be able to enjoy reading my said post about the proverbial elephant in a more conducive climate.
Yours sincerely,

So, the elephant in the room gags were good, but laughing at myself for the time it took me to figure out the rhino painter. Still laughing.

The elephant in the room is very popular among cartoonists. I could do a whole post of nothing but elephant-in-the-room cartoons.
