Speaking as an (ex) ballroom dance instructor and professional competitor, his dancing was really not all that great. The professionals backing him up, who were great, must have been gagging.
Having said that, he did exactly what the part called for, did it well, and the bottom line is: who cares – it’s Elvis and he looks scrumptious!!!

Yeah. His movies are not all that grat but who cares about the plot. I dont think people whatch them for the story.
