My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

When I was a kid, I could toast a marshmallow over my birthday cake. Now I could roast a turkey.

My 17 year old Leggs is a wonderful cat but very afraid of ANYTHING new in his environment.
You see, about 16+ years ago he was enjoying Christmas morning with the family when he suddenly ERUPTED from under the tree with a horrendupous howl and danced the extreme jitterbug for my whole amazed family!
In the space of a few seconds,as we sat frozen, he got several feet away from the tree and with a final agonized howl flew away from it as the little chewy interbbulb light cord finally jerked out of his mouth!
He’s never been the same since!

A Christmas tree is like a magnet to a cat. One Christmas our big ginger cat took down the tree three times. Completely down. We blamed the tree stand and made sure to get a heavy duty model for the next year 🙂

Did the heavy-duty model work for this year?
Merry Christmass to you.

This brings back memories of our first cat, Prissy, back in 1968. We never put up a tree after her, for we always had indoor cats. We learned from Prissy.

Haha, too bad I can’t send a photo – Starry was just in my parents tree! But these are great, thanks!

That is my cat every year. We have an artificial tree, and we hadn’t put the top on and our cat was already climbing up it! He goes up, but doesn’t know how to get himself down or out of the tree, which makes it hard too get him out.
