Now you are sending me over to Youtube to look for more Victor Borge – I remember him from when I was a kid and he was always on The Ed Sullivan Show…

My late husband would just crack up laughing when we would watch Victor Borge. We loved him. Thanks for sharing and a great memory.

Liberace was good, but Victor could always bring the house down – when he wanted to play seriously, he could, but his antics were better!

Never got to see him in person, more’s the pity!!

He joked in an interview (it may be on you tube) he developed his skills in comedy while on the run from nazis. That the nazis wanted him so badly they invaded nation after nation to try to get him. He spent most of that time playing in beer halls and concerts where he lambasted the nazis thru his music. Doing that, he encouraged a backlash at the nazis and was more of a player in WWII than he lets on. May we meet at the Gates (of Heaven)!
