I am weird but the one thing that caught, and held my attention, was Danny Kaye’s clothes – his shoes and socks match his suit perfectly and that suit is so perfectly tailored!

And a very Merry Christmas to you! This was fun. You know, all the times I saw the movie, this is the first time I noticed that Danny Kaye’s shoes match his suit. I guess I was waiting for one of them to fall in the water. But, thank you. It’s nice to see it.

My parents loved musicals (my dad, especially). I loved Danny Kaye. He was amazing.
