The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer. —Paula Poundstone
My kid accused me of being overdramatic, so I changed the WiFi password. We’ll see who’s overdramatic in about five minutes.

I couldn’t leave Bubba the Terrible, a dachshund, in the truck alone because he would lock the doors. He also loved those tootsie rolls in the litter box, anything remotely food, coffee addict, stole cigarette butts…Well, he was a dachshund. Case closed.

The shedding Corgi reminded me that I once worked with a woman who collected her dog’s hair, had it made into yarn, and then knitted herself a sweater out of it.
These all have me wheezing with laugher! 😀

My little porch cat, Scruffy, appears to be part Himalayan, and his fur comes out in handfuls whenever I brush him. I always wish I could do something with all that beautiful long, soft fur. I’d like to make it into mittens or something.

Aww, mittens 🙂
I say go for it! Just looked them up, and Himalayans are gorgeous!

Well, Scruffy is a stray who just showed up here some years ago, so we don’t know anything about his provenance, but “Himalayan” was the veterinarian’s best guess. He might also be part Manx, because he has a short stubby tail.

These are hilarious. I love ever single one. So funny. And some resourceful dogs here. Shoplifting dogs, and locking parents out of the car, then opening the windows! Priceless.

I’m sure the next car his owners get will have remote keyless entry.

I recently saw a dog that had been left in a car, open the door, get out, and start roaming around the parking lot. I shooed the dog back into his car and shut the door behind him. The dog’s owner came out of the building just then and got all suspicious about why I was near his car. I told him what his dog had done and he obviously did not believe me. You know what they say, no good deed goes unpunished.

Maybe the parking lot’s security cameras caught it. (That’s how it always works in the movies.)

I’m sure they did. The building adjacent to the parking lot contains our local hospital and the health department.

The last one set me laughing out loud but they were all great. I needed that laugh.

I like that blue face. When my son was little, we had a toy poodle named Tootsie. One day I gave my son spaghetti for lunch. I stepped into the kitchen for a few minutes and when I came out I saw he hadn’t finished so asked if he wanted more before I took the dish to the kitchen. He ate more and when he finished I noticed that Tootsie had orange stains around her mouth. He had put the plate down so Tootsie could have some before he resumed eating. He was sharing, so it wasn’t Tootsie’s fault that they both ate from the same dish of spaghetti.
Love,
Janie
