I’ve heard that Lucille Ball was a confirmed Chesterfield smoker, and that when she had to smoke during one of their commercials she’d have them sneak a couple of Chesterfields in the Phillip Morris pack. (My mom was a lot like Lucy, and that was just one more way.)

Love the ad with Joe E. Brown…. he was the best thing about “Some Like It Hot.”
