    The cats under and in a Christmas tree are so cute. Brings up a memory of a calico cat my mother had and we had to place just the vacuum hose laid out in front of the presents and tree to keep her out, she (Taddy) would walk up and hiss at the hose and scamper away, she hated that vacuum cleaner!

    The first kitty looks so much like my favorite kitty, gone since 2004 at age 19. I still think about her & miss her, it was like losing a child to death

    Our two old kitties know better than to explore or play with the tree. Sniffing is okay, just no playing with the ornaments or climbing.
    We have a new 12-week-old kitten that hasn’t learned manners, so he gets soaked with the “cat tamer” squirt bottle when he does not mind his manners.
    We have a knitted matt around the tree that has a rope light imbedded in it (it’s hand-made), and the kittehs like to lay on it to stay warm. Smart!
