My grandmother is over eighty and she still doesn’t need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.

We babysit for our 3-year-old granddaughter Colette 3 days each week. She and Grampy (my husband) have their own little routines which they both enjoy very much. You should see the two of them chatting away while sitting at the kitchen table eating ice cream right out of the container. The other day Grampy was explaining the difference between a Phillips-Head screwdriver and a flathead; Colette was fascinated. It’s absolutely precious listening to them! And when you ask Colette next week what the difference is between those two screwdrivers, she will explain it as eloquently as the Ace Hardware Man. That will come in handy the next time Grampy forgets something; Colette will remind him! 💙

Replace Colette with Sarah and you’ve got me!
My grandson Jacob, almost 3, is gonna be a ball player, and he loooooves his bubbles when Grandpa blows them!

That last one is absolutely perfect. But I find we are still advising our grown children on things. Wonder when that phase will run out? Thanks for the chuckle this morning!

Seriously?
You never will stop giving advice to your children, it’s not a “phase”. Sorry to disappoint you…

True! You never stop worrying or advising your kids, no matter how old they are. It’s part of a parent’s DNA.

I always find it ironic as I get more “biologically irrelevant” I’m still getting smarter. I imagine THAT will stop someday…but one day at a time. Great comics here!
